Your donation will help provide free cybersecurity resources, lesson plans, textbooks and experiences to middle and high school teachers and students in Miami focusing on Title I schools. Title I schools have high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families. Early exposure to cybersecurity could motivate students into entering this lucrative field and increase awareness of online safety.
About Us
Innovation Tech Academy (ITA) is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to education through technology, focusing on the area of cybersecurity. Our main educational program is CyberHoops, funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Security Agency through a GenCyber grant, which provides cybersecurity experiences to middle and high-school students in South Florida through an innovative basketball curriculum during the summer. Your donation would allow ITA to provide these much needed free cybersecurity resources, lesson plans, textbooks and experiences year round to increase equity and assist underrepresented communities.

- Increase minority representation in the workforce since presently only 24% Women, 9% African-American and 4% Hispanic.
- Cybersecurity education can be life changing since professional jobs are the fastest growing career field with an average of 31% growth until 2029 and an average starting salary between $90,000.00 to $160,000.00.
