Innovation Tech Academy is honored to have received the sponsorship for the 2023 GenCyber CyberHoops Summer Camp from the National Security Agency and the National Science Foundation.

The 2023 GenCyber CyberHoops Summer Camp is scheduled for June 26 -30, 2023. This camp teaches cybersecurity concepts using interactive and fun basketball activities. The GenCyber CyberHoops Camp is FREE in-person camp. All middle and high school students (Grades 6-12) from South Florida are eligible to apply. Special priority will be given to students  from underrepresented groups in cybersecurity (Hispanics, African-Americans, and women).

Innovation Tech Academy is a non-for-profit with a mission to provide online technology-related courses in Cybersecurity. 

Course Format: 100% online. Learn on your own time.

ITA Courses help students prepare to enroll in college level course or in courses to take the globally recognized CompTIA Security+ Certification, Ethical Hacking Certification, Information Security Manager Certification, and the Incident Handler Certification.

  • The material of the courses were created for Middle School and High School students in mind as well as anyone wanting to obtain a basic understanding of Cybersecurity.

  • Classes are structured along several short instructional videos, infographs, and content-related quizzes on specific topics.

  • Students can view the instructional material at their own pace. 

  • Several classes on technology are offered, including cybersecurity, internet of things, technology fundamentals, ethical hacking, and responsible use of technology as part of our academic curriculum.

  • Courses are specifically designed to provide a comprehensive understanding on contemporary technological issues as well as other academic perspectives.
